2009 Croaker Festival
a hometown fair

The 2008 Croaker Festival, held at the waterfront in Oriental NC, was an unqualified success! Clear weather in the low 80's was ordered by the Croaker Goddess and delivered. This year's festival is on the 4th July.

The Kiddie Fun Fair will again be in Mr. Mason's front yard - thanks Mr Mason. All sorts of fun, rides, clowns, digging for fossils, and games will be on hand.

The Festival will include the parade, Croakette Pageant and the teenage Croaker Queen Pageant and a widw variety booths with food and other goodies

There will be a sailboat race sponsored by Neuse Sailing Association.

The fireworks will be set of on Dewey Point as usual. The rain date for the fireworks will be Sunday the 5th.

Our thanks to the many people work hard to provide a safe, fun and entertaining weekend. And a thank you ahead of the event to all the residents and the hundreds of guests who will visit Oriental and Pamlico County.
